Socks

DSC_0835

Hello world,

Today it is time for me to talk with all of you about socks.

Lately I have seen them all over Vogue and other fashion magazines….Yes, cute, adorable outfits with socks!

I guess they don’t belong just to grandma’s wardrobe anymore 😆

Now they are new additions to the fashion world!

But seriously, I have been thinking about this trend for awhile, and what really inspired me the most  was my fabulous fashionista friend from  www.morestylethanfashion.com who has an incredibly exquisite taste for fashion.  She can pull off any outfit with socks, and totally Rock it!

Getting back to the subject, I really believe there is something really sexy and feminine to add the right Socks to your outfit.   They are definitely eye-catching and can totally make a simple outfit look like a million dollar’s.

To me, socks and heels are the perfect combination, and there are many ways to style this trend: we have the retro, the preppy, the hipster and the classy ones.

So begin to define what style you would like to try, and start from there.  But keep in mind that it is better to have your socks noticed because of your amazing taste, and not because you confuse the time for Halloween LOL..

So here is my way to style an outfit by wearing socks:  Today I chose a pencil Skirt, with a little graphic top.  I paired them with these transparent short socks for the chic cool look, and I added these white round Glasses and striped Bag.   To me this is the perfect combination for everyday life.

Wether you are ready or not for something different, it is always good to experiment with new trends!

Stay fabulous.

It is so girly, and perfect for a shopping day :)

But we can always still be chic and cute in e everyhing we do, right ??

So everyone, if you are in the mood to wear something with a funny message that can bring a smile to your face, the weekend will be a great time to start :)

The High Waisted Jeans

DSC_0532

The new thing in town for a while now is the High Waisted Jeans.

This style was popular in the 1980s.

I remember every store had these jeans like a big rainbow of all different colors, and the best part of this particular style was that it appealed so perfect for all ages.

Well, they were revived from the 80s, and have been back since last spring, and I don’t think they will go away anytime soon :)

This unique style can really make you look very slim and stylish, but we really have to be very careful how we pair this jeans with the rest of our clothes, and we have to understand our own body shapes very good.

For my personal taste, I thought high-waisted jeans were just not good for my body shape, but it is always good to keep your fashion options open, and try different styles. Right?

So today I chose burgundy and black because I love the color combination, and it is a very safe way to wear this style and still look chic :)

The look I chose today is an everyday outfit that will make you look and feel confident, stylish and comfortable, all in one… what a perfect deal.

Smart shopper advice:  If you are like me, and are not completely crazy about this style, then don’t buy many.  Just get yourself one, or the most, two pair.  That will be plenty to combine with your wardrobe.  But I know there are exceptions for every rule out there, so if you have the perfect body for this style, then yes get them in all different colors, and have fun with this trend 😉

Stay Fabulous.

White Coat

DSC_0368

Hello gorgeous friends

Fall and winter are about to let us show our best fashion staples.

Living in Europe for a few years really made me appreciate cold weather fashion, but here in CA now it’s totally a different story LOL..

We have seasons of course, but it is never really that cold.

So today I would like to you talk about the one piece of clothing that can definitely speak for itself when the weather starts to change no matter where you are.

I’m talking about Your Coat.  That large piece of fabric that hugs you and brings you a certain feeling of comfort.  For me, a coat is almost like a blanket.  That blanket you just love to snuggle on a cold day :)

But of course, this particular blanket needs to bring you style and class as well, right ?  Well, Coats can for sure make their own strong fashion statements this time of the year.

So this is how I’ll manage to stay in style here in CA during the cooler time of the year :

Due to the weather here in CA, I don’t need a heavy-duty sweater under my Coat, so all I need is a light blouse and a pair of Jeans, a cute little Hat… and I’m totally appropriate for the occasion.

Today I chose and off-white coat, because to me the style and the color of the coat is just so classy, and most importantly, it matches beautifully with all other colors.  For me, off-white and black coats are a big part of my fall/winter wardrobe.

And when I don’t need the Coat, I can just take it off..it is just so simple and easy.

So with this look I present the casual Chic style once again.

I totally recommend investing in one or two long beautiful Coats for the changing weather.  What you wear under the Coat really doesn’t matter much because your Coat will be your voice saying to the world: “all eyes on me” :)

The right Coat may also likely be that one piece of clothing that becomes part of your daily life at least for six months or so out of the year.  Yes, they are your best friend for sure. :)

Stay fabulous!

The Little Black Jacket

DSC_0759

Hello beauties,

Today is time for me to talk about the Little Black Jacket.

We all know about the little black dress, but this particular Jacket plays a big role in our wardrobe.

The little black dress, and the Little Black Jacket, are big staples from
Chanel.

This piece of clothing is definitely a symbol of feminine elegance.

This Jacket came to life in 1954 when Mademoiselle Chanel decided to surprise the Fashion industry with a uniquely sophisticated Jacket that to today is still a timeless piece of art :)

For the Little Black Jacket, there are no rules!

Because the best part is that you literally can wear it with everything of any color.
Fashion advice:

Make sure if you are going to invest in this item, look for quality, meaning good fabric and beautiful buttons because this Jacket will be your best friend forever :)

Stay fabulous!

The Last Minute Fashion Call

DSC_0057

Hello gorgeous people.

Today I want to talk about fashion emergencies :)

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I feel like I just don’t have enough time to think about what to wear the next day, especially weekends when we rush out to enjoy the many beautiful sceneries in CA.  So that is what I call a Fashion emergency – putting an outfit together in like less then 10 minutes.

Whatever I decide to wear, I always want to look chic, but also be comfortable.  So today I chose to wear a pair of jeans with a simple white top, but enhanced it with a Navy Blue Blazer.

I think the jacket, and gold buttons on it, gives this ordinary outfit a very rich vibe.

I chose the leopard pattern high heels, but other flat styles could look stunning as well.

I really believe with the correct basics, a stylish jacket, and the right pair of shoes, we can always make a fashion statement.

And as fashion rules:

Choose a casual outfit that is comfortable and suggests fun, but always maintain class and style.

Blue and white colors will never be out of style, but the right tailored jacket on top will bring out the classy and stylish look your looking for.  So one thing you absolutely need to add to your wardrobe is Navy Blue Jacket.  But make sure it is tailored to fit your body and shows off your curvy silhouette, if not you’ll just look like a hot dog wrapped in a bun. :)

Another good tip is find yourself a pair of jeans that totally flatters you. We all have that one favorite pair of jeans we feel awesome in, and if you don’t, then spend some time finding a pair – they’ll last you forever.

And my last advice, no matter what you wear, always be confident about yourself.  Realize we don’t have to try so hard when figuring out what to wear.  Just being our natural selves is always a winning situation.  And if it is Target or Prada, or even both together, always take pride about how you look :)

Stay Fabulous!

Enchanted by Pastels

DSC_0145After coming back from vacation in New York, I’m back and so happy to connect with all of you again.

I missed you while I was gone :)

Once again I decided to show pastels, because honestly, I can never get enough of these pretty colors…they’re just so me 😉

Pastels are like cupcakes. They are the soft side of me. When I think about pastels, I see roses, lollipops, cherry blossoms, candy kisses and even THE beautiful face of a baby :)

Pastels have deep meaning in fashion. They are universal colors that represent the delicate and the sophisticated sides of a woman together.  They symbolize romance and are fashionable colors for playtime.

There are so many ways to be stunning with pastels.  If you have a good tan to your skin, pastel will also look absolutely fabulous on you.

But we need to be careful, because pastels can also be a little tricky.  If we don’t style them in the right way, we can look like an Easter Egg LOL…

Pair pastels with grey, black or navy blue for the right touch.

Check out the pastels I show off in these pictures. You don’t have to necessary wear them the exact same way, but I hope they give you an idea of some colors that look just beautiful together :)

Stay fabulous!

Romper Review

DSC_0118One of the hottest and most popular fashionable trends for this Summer are Jumpsuit/Rompers. Yes, they are back big-time, as strong as ever!

It is unbelievable how our tastes do change over the years. Before, I would never even try to put on a Romper, and I definitely would never go out shopping just for one.

In my mind wearing a Romper was always like making a fashion crime. But each and everyday I saw more and more Rompers all over the fashion magazines, and I realized that maybe it was just one of those trends that was out there for so long that I never even gave them a chance.

So, I injecting some fashion confidence in myself, I finally got in the market, looked around, and bought my first one.

The good news about the Jumpsuit/Romper is that you can dress them down with some flats or sandals; or dress them up with heels and accessories.  You just need to choose the style that suits you best.

Wether you are searching for the glamorous or a casual look, there is definitely one out there to fulfill your own taste. Pretty much any shape of purse will go fine with the Romper: big ones, little ones, clutches, cross body bags…and with the right jewelry, it just depends on the occasion.

Many times they can even save the day, because you don’t have to put too much thought into a full Romper outfit.

So if you are scrambling in your closet for that particular outfit to make a statement, get into a Jumpsuit/Romper mood and get ready to Rock!

But a few things you need to know first:   For women who are not very tall, short Rompers are the best way to go.  For women with average sizes, long or short Rompers are totally perfect.  And for women, like me, who are not fortunate to have any Fanny – well, I prefer to choose one that is a little loose on the body, to make sure I don’t look like I’m wearing a potato sack LOL…

I will say, though, that even when Rompers are now one of my favorite items for this Summer, they are still a challenge in the ladies room LOL…But looking fabulous is always worth the sacrifice, right ladies!!

So embrace the sophisticated or laid-back girl with this staple trend.

Stay fabulous!!!

Relax in Casual Style

DSC_0068Hello beauties, today I want to show a very simple and casual way to dress for a Sunday afternoon.

The right casual style can suit any of us, if we are smart with our choices.

Wonders can be done with simple casual clothes. With the correct basics and right accessories, an ordinary outfit can look so very chic!

Casual summer clothes were meant to be easy to wear and comfortable, especially for a relaxing day with the family, or of course any day just shopping.

Putting together a cute outfit is so easy and fun!

Here are my basic rules to look sharp when I’m dressing casual:

– It is so important that whatever you choose to wear, it fits your body properly and all colors match.

– If I’m wearing very inexpensive clothes, I make sure my accessories are of very good quality.  I will say, at least two master piece accessories are needed to bring perfection to any of my simple outfits: the Purse and Shoes. They need to be the center of my look :)

– You can pair up any flat shoes, and take glamorous classy steps to elevate your casual style, but please, leave the sandals for the beach, and the sneakers for running :)

If you have the class and the style, you can wear a potato bag and still look amazing.

So relax ladies, and stay fabulous!
